For three unlucky people who were horribly disfigured, vanity was not the reason they had a nip/tuck.

    Haha. Ya. Dont put tooo much. If u have insanely slow metabolism , i suggest using some medication to aid your metalbolism. Also people said “Shaking legs is a bad habit” , it’s actually not. It keep your metabolism at certain rate. So it wont go down to insanely low.

    I shake my legs almost 12+hours of the day and i’m skinny.

    It’s actually a good start for low metabolism people.

    I agree, except for the makeup thing: Don’t cake on makeup, it just is TOO fake. Put a reasonable amount on, in colors that suit you.

    And some people have an insanely fast/insanely slow metabolism, but those are exceptions.

    Celebrities mostly get some surgeries too. So a little surgery is neccessary sometimes. I get my rhinoplasty and eyelid surgery. I’m perfect now~ :D

    I’ve seen very ugly people that are in tip top physical condition. It’s not always just being in good physical shape, and having the right hairstyle.

    If you’re skinny eat more.
    Learn to wear makeup , can it make a DIFFERENT.
    Learn to brush your teeth.
    Learn switch hairstyle suits you BEST.
    So many things u can do.

    Plastic surgery can be good but if you can change whatever u can. Just dont go for the SHORTCUT. Put in effort , people!

    Madonna didnt get her looks for nothing. She workup alot and eat healthy , learnt from her.

    No one is ever ugly. If you call people pretty because they have the same blond hair, blue eyes, then you have the view of Hitler. If you accept unique and other beautiful styles of people, such as clay aiken, who is different but not ugly, then you are not discriminating people based on their looks. Not every one looks the way you think is perfect. Just because they don’t you have no right to call them any ugly or anything like that.

    Civilization may seem to negate natural things, but do not forget that it was built on natural human compulsions. Everything that ever had to do with humans has never defied these physiologically immutable compulsions, and the compulsion to dominate over a perceived enemy is perhaps THE most primal and important of all.
    Anything that society could do to stop ideological disparity in the world would have to be coercive or similarly illicit (once again, think of WE, maybe The Giver as well).

    Okay – I admit – you do have a fair point. But there are so many suppressions of instincts today as civilisation and society as we know it has developed. Society and its ociations, such as the media, has a significant power impact over how people generally learn to grow; what is acceptable and what isn’t – sometimes prevailing over instinct. My opinion derives from a loosely based theory that this principal can be applied to make it at all possible. But I am no expert.

On a global basis, it is not enough to ignore a problem, nor will most humans on this Earth ‘deign,’ as it were, to abnegate the exigencies of their agendas. Besides, from an evolutionary/natural standpoint, survival is based on an organisms ability to triumph over other organisms. This primal, fundamental urge can be at most suppressed (think Zamyatin’s WE), never abolished.
