What is wrong with you? How can you bash the Chinese like that?

  4. yes you’re right! …
yes you’re right! obama is sucks..

in the spratlys island conflict he doesn’t do any action even Philippines is part of that conflict,,

He broke the Strong relation of Philippines and America

  5. Hence the reason …
Hence the reason why you should have voted for McCain like you were told! Too late now.. Oh well.. Enjoy our great way of life while you had the chance to, because things will never be that good again!

  6. Obama failed the …
Obama failed the test and China will be more bold.
Obama is the weakness in America.

  7. i think you may be …
i think you may be over compensating a little. no body hates china (except for the tibetans….and the nepalese….and maybe the japanese) but don’t worry about the whole military thing either, the US are just looking for a new way to scare their population. they’ll probably call it “cold war 2″. nobody’s going to buy it this time round.

  8. I see now, I have …
I see now, I have lived in Canada for 10 years now, so I have no idea about the Northeast Project which started 3 years ago. I absolutely disagree with it, because it is gonna cost us in the future for sure.

  9. But be sure, I dont …
But be sure, I dont at all agree with the Northeast Project, it is too stupid to be Chinese. The Acadamy of Social Science is full of incompetent fools who is short sighted and has no wisdom and a sense of diplomacy. They do not reflect the general opinion of the bulk of the Chinese intellectuals. These fools will pay in for what they did, one day, when china is at war, we would end up with no friends, how many chinese lives would be lost.

  10. Well, but I have to …
Well, but I have to admit that the Northeast Project is a bloody failure. I would kill those fools if I have the power!

  11. I diagree with you, …
I diagree with you, the mordern day south Korea occupies very little part of the original Koguryo Kingdom, it is true that many koreans descended from Koguryo but so did tons of ethnic Koreans in china, and the thing is for these Korean Chinese, Liaodong is their native land, now the land of their ancestor’s kingdom Kogoryo which occupies Liaodong is part of the PRC, the PRC didnt not define China as the civilization of ethnic Han, but a cluster of multi-ethnic civilizations.

  12. The problem is that …
The problem is that the ethnic Koreans that has lived in LiaoDong area of Manchuria for as long as they existed has mostly descendents of Koguryo kingdom. These people are Legally citizens of China, they are the natives of the area therefore, their ancestor’s kingdom should also be part of the civilization called Zhong-guo.

  13. this is very …
this is very problematic and the reason why many chinese mongolians or The uyghurs refuse to call themselves Chinese, because the word in english is misleading.

  14. technicall speaking …
technicall speaking, the word china as apeared in most english texts are very misleading, in this case, they should rather say ‘in A.D 612, an Imperial Sui Army of….. marched into…Koguryo’. the word China translates to chinese as 中國 which specifies no ethnicity, but in english, it has an ethnicity to it, and that’s the ethnic Han. but Han is Han, China is China, they are different!

  15. Americans are …
Americans are always looking for ways to make people hate china. I dont see how calling Koguryo a ‘chinese’ kindom is problematic, the word ‘chinese’ refer to the current china, which is a multi-ethnic civilization, but in the mind of most westerners, chinese is just those mandarin or cantonese speaking ethnic han chinese. Is manchu Qing dynasty a Chinese empire? Yes and No, depends on how you interpret the word ‘China’. If you think China=Han, than, no.

  16. well, the problem …
well, the problem is the translation of the word ‘chinese’ or ‘china’. Does china mean ‘Han china’ or ‘Han chinese’?

  17. lol, I see what you …
lol, I see what you are getting at. well, a great number of ethnic koreans lived in manchuria near the border for centuries, if you look at the map today, 50 percent of Koguryo’s land is now part of manchuria including the famous ‘LiaoDong’ area. Well, I dont see how calling it a ‘Chinese’ would eradicate the Korean Identity.

  18. if it were only …
if it were only about one or two deluded scholars, it wouldn’t have made the TIME magazine article (written by an american.)

think about it. why wasn’t JUMONG shown in china? when much lesser dramas were shown? hm…

i really have to run — not ignoring you, but i know how futile it is to argue over taiwan/tibet w. chinese people, so forgive my rudeness in cutting short this discussion

ps. contrary to popular leftist belief, IMF is not an evil organization

  19. Fuck off, ambition …
off, ambition in the face of the US navy destroyers partroling in chinese territorial waters. their F22s are stationed less than 120 miles from your coast, their nuclear submarine in the area out numbers all the nuclear submaring we have! they have 3 world biggest aircraft carrier in the area. Isnt that enough to make us worry? Do we not have the right to worry? Ambition? what’s wrong with Ambition under these circumstances?

  20. i told you all this …
i told you all this *explaining* is not necessary.

  21. lol, you are …
lol, you are ing paranoid, just because one or two scholars claims that Koguryo is part of China, you are blaming it on all Chinese? Scholars in the US claimed that we are all from Mars, and what are you gonna say? That US government are reptilian alien conspiring against the human race? lol

  22. On Aug. 5 Seoul …
On Aug. 5 Seoul dispatched an official to Beijing to complain about China’s “ongoing distortion of the history of Koguryo,” including the removal of the kingdom’s name from a Chinese Foreign Ministry Web page on Korea. … “They think China is trying to eradicate the Korean identity,” says Park Sang-seek, head of the Graduate Institute of Peace Studies at Kyung Hee University north of Seoul.

  23. and to make you …
and to make you clear about it, I am breaking down more, okey. now, you asked why chinese nowadays are so nationalistic, I repay as thus: China has an economy expending at a very fast rate, but the chinese felt very much restricted and deprived of their hard work because the raw material they need to grow their economy is being denied to them by the US and West, plus, only a fraction of the profit china create end up in china’s pocket owning to organizations like IMF, etc.

  24. from the TIME …
    from the TIME article:

In A.D. 612 an Imperial Chinese army of more than a million soldiers marched on the northeast Asian kingdom of Koguryo. Though vastly outnumbered, the soldiers of Koguryowhom many modern-day Koreans see as their ancestorsrouted the Chinese in a victory that is still a source of pride on both sides of the DMZ.

Now, almost 1,400 years later, Chinese scholars are attempting a subtler land grab, claiming that the ancient kingdom of Koguryo was a part of China…

  25. i’m not missing …
i’m not missing your point — you are the one who kept jumping from economics to something else in a confused fashion

i understand china’s ambitions better than you — so your explaining to me that china wants taiwan for her ambitions is totally unnecessary.
