The Best Reader
At DJ old school McNamara Elementary, she was reported by her teacher as one of the best readers in her class, the best dresser, and that she often would cry in the classroom. DJ currently stays with me on the weekdays so I can take her to school. Since I work there, I am able to keep up with her academics. Surprisingly to me DJ likes school but I think this is only recent development. Her favorite subject is the subject that gives her the most trouble-math. She likes math because it is hard. Sometimes the hard things in life are the springboard for greater opportunity.
